I immediately knew I wanted to do a baby card- these are such light, breezy colors. I also couldn't resist because of those booties. Too cute!!
Here is my creation:
I used Very Vanilla textured CS for the base. I layered a pumpkin pie piece under a piece of certainly celery DP. Then, I used a scrap of very vanilla and took a piece of soft sky that I scalloped punched and attached them. I tied a certainly celery grosgrain ribbon around that, and punched holes in the scallops for another look. Then, I made a small tag using the "Special Delivery" saying from Papertrey Ink. I stamped that in soft sky (kinda hard to see...) then backgrounded it with an argyle piece from the pumpkin pie DP. I attached it with a piece of silver thread. Then, I stamped "welcome" from Warm Words in the upper left hand corner. I then attached some similar green thickers to say "baby". SOOOoooo Sweet!
Enjoy!
Recipe:
The NEW In Colors... Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango, & Pacific Point Cardstock & Ink
Whisper White cardstock
White Grosgrain ribbon
The next card is also from Wow Flowers... I added in the color Baja Breeze and colored my white grosgrain ribbon to match my cardstock! Such a simple trick (I just used me blender pen to pull the color and then colored the ribbon and let dry- there are lots of ways it can be done) and it gives the ribbon such a great match to ANY color!
And of course I couldn't leave without posting a card!! This was made for our good friends who just had their second child- a baby boy named Mitchell Andrew. Too sweet!!
