We will meet ONCE in November, ONCE in January, and ONCE in February.

Club meetings will be held at my home in St. Clair Shores.

November will focus on holiday themed cards, easy scrapbook pages, and hand-made bows, ornaments & tags for gift wrapping.

Also... Please let me know what day is best for you (For November ONLY):

Friday Evening's
Saturday Day
Saturday Evening
Sunday Early Afternoon

I anticipate each session to run approximately 3 hours long. (Each month we'll pick a day that works best for the majority)

Payment: I'm thinking of doing payment as a "class" fee. Each club meeting will cost $15. Total of $45 for the 6 months. You can pre-pay for all three classes by check, cash, or credit card by November 1st OR put your credit card on file with me, and I will run it the day prior to the club meeting (seperately for each session). If it is necessary that supplies be mailed, there may be an additional one time fee of $5 for priority shipping.

What will I get?!:
You will each receive a NEW catalog ($9.95 value), as well as past catalogs as supplies last.
You will all receive all the materials for the make-n-takes- But, you must bring your OWN adhesive to the club!
If you are unable to attend, you will receive your materials from me no later than ONE week after the club meeting.
You will all receive directions on how to re-create your own make-n-takes.
You'll be eligible for special prizes and incentives for attending as well as exclusive deals offered only through me.
Each session you will learn a NEW technique and be able to use & try anything I personally own to see if you like it!!
You can order merchandise at a discounted rate just for joining!
& You will have a chance to sign up for another class or club for 50% OFF the fee!!!

A few last notes: I plan to demo at least 3 make-n-takes at every club meeting. If you'd like, feel free to forward this to any friends and invite them to join as well.

**I had a few people mention that they may not be able to attend each session. You can certainly still join. If you cannot make it for that month, please let me know at least 2 weeks BEFORE the scheduled session. I can then prep your items differently. I'll either 1) get all items together, pre-cut, etc. as normal and deliver the items to you (by mail or in person) with directions on how to complete them OR 2) I can pre-make all the items we did in that class and still give you directions in case you want to make your own! **

If you don't want to join the club- I still have workshop & class dates available for September & October. As a hostess you get a FREE catalog and an additional $20 in FREE hostess merchandise (for any party over $150).

I really HAVE been creating!!

I wanted to share lots of things I've been busy with! I wanted to prove to everyone that although I haven't posted much lately I have been working on things!!

First is a anniversary card for my Jen and her fabulous hubby, Derek. They celebrated 7 yrs together on the 31st and I couldn't be happier for them!

2 scrapbook pages for my mother's best friend, Jeannie. She is having a big bash on the 6th for turning the big 5-O.

And... My first diaper cake. For my cousin Shantelle's shower to be held on the 13th of September. She is having a little girl and her theme is butterfly's, dragonfly's, flowers, and pastel colors. Lovely.

Hope you're all well... Keep your eyes open for an e-mail from me about Stamp Club. :)

Stamp Club

Just wanted to see if anyone has an interest in doing a stamp club...

We can come up with what to make-n-take together. I was thinking of running it for 6 months, meeting 3 times every other month. I know most of us are VERY busy with our day-to-day, but this may FORCE us to

1) get together
2) use the stuff we currently have sitting in the back of our closets
3) learn new techniques
4) have a chance to purchase NEW things!

I wanted to start in November since this is the perfect time to do any holiday projects. Then again in January and once more in March.

Let me know what you think. There would be a "fee" for the club- either a minimum purchase each time (3 times total) or a total minimum purchase or just a flat rate (and you'd have to commit to the 6 months ahead of time).

Oh yes... I will be back later (hopefully) with more new things! I'm still waiting for that order. Kevin guessed yesterday, I guessed tomorrow. We shall see who is right. And... what should I get if I *am* correct?!

2 posts two days in a row?! Whhattt?! ;)

KWerner Challenge is BAAAACK!!!

So my stampin' crush uploaded another challenge today! Yippee!! Luckily for me, I have tomorrow off work so I got to play along!!

I always love her challenges, but today she let us pick our own 4th color! I was sad that I didn't get to play along in her last challenge, so I used Summer Sun as my 4th color.

Here is what I came up with....

I used Basic Grey cardstock for a 5x5 base. I added to that with a piece of basic black, added whisper white, and then attached a piece of swirly vellum (that I JUST found when I cleaned my scrapbook amoire last week!! I thought I used all it when I made my bridal shower invites- yippee for not doing so!). I added rhinestone brads to the corners.

Then, I used the slit punch (my scallop edge punch is on it's way!!) to make a row of scallops and added a piece of basic grey ribbon to that piece. I punched some holes along the edge for a different look. Then I stamped the sentiment in Staz-On with my Heard from the Heart set (NEW!). I punched a MS butterfly in summer sun and added it for a final touch.

So, what do you think?!

Also... This is what 80-90 bookmarks in the making look like:

So yeah... I've been busy. Watch for more updates this weekend. I'm working on these bookmarks and much more for my cousins' baby shower. I've got a lot of work ahead of me before September 14th, but it's so fun!! I just wish I didn't have to work and could stay home and "play" with my stamps all day!! I'd have this stuff done in NO time! Hehe.

Quick 'lil update...

Hello ladies!!

Wanted to show you that in fact I HAVE been creating lately. At a snail's pace, I might add! ;)

This card uses the NEW pink pirouette from the latest in colors. The DSP is retired, but I think it looks lovely together!

Another card using NEW in colors: Riding Hood Red, Tangerine Tango, & Baja Breeze; I used a retired set, Essence of Love and my brand new Martha Stewart Butterfly punch- I love it!!

A card I made as a CASE of one from Splitcoast. I really love these colors... and the current set: Fresh Cuts.

And... a semi-Taylor CASE. I loved her idea of "2 u" after Happy Birthday. I also wanted to bust out my chipboard since I never use it! I used Pacific Point (NEW In Color) for the base, and Bella Rose DSP along with Old Olive ribbon and a marker to color in the "u".

Hope you are all well... I was thrilled to hear this little tidbit- on my hubby's Fantasy Focus Pod Cast there was a chat about the funniest HS mascot names... My HS, Mt. Clemens was ranked #3. Go Battling Bathers!! Yes, like to take a bath!! Look into it- Mt. Clemens was once the home of the famous Salt Bath's WAY back. Ahh... the history of the tiny town I grew up in. Hehe.

**ETA: I totally forgot my watermarks! Ugh. I was in such a hurry to get these up. Oh well... I'll go back and add them later. **

We ROCK!

So... It's not a card, but I've been trying to get some pages made lately!! I used the sketch that Kristina posted here. She's had some back problems and hasn't been able to do the card for Make a Card Monday, although she did have the sketch ready. So- she posted it and wanted us to show her what we came up with. I thought it was the pefect layout for one page of my two page Wright Family Christmas spread.

I used textured pretty in pink paper and all the other accessories are from a Simply Scrappin' kit I got last year.

I did work on some cards the last couple days- I'll post them later if I get the chance!

Hope you all had a great weekend... don't forget about my stamp sets for sale- They are headed on e-bay this week if I don't sell any of them!

Later all!
