Post Holiday Blues

Well, pretty much all my crafting has come to an abrupt halt! Sadly for me :( !

I really enjoy time to make cards, and I truly enjoy doing it more for others than for myself. It really is time to replenish my own stash as I'm low on every kind of card imaginable. I'd much rather play with new stamps (which are really amazing, by the way!) then focus on ONE theme. I guess I should get on it, though! Pretty soon I'm going to be sending out all the "crappy" cards- the kind I made in the days when I was afraid to mess up or be extra creative!

Here are a few cards I've made with inspiration from the new catalog. You can see the new Bali Breeze Designer Paper as well as two new stamp sets (A Beautiful Life & A Little Birdie Told Me). I have others, so watch for more posts soon.

Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and enjoy the New Year!

Jar Candle's!

My mom and I spent over 6 hours decorating jar candles yesterday. The votives I made and posted previously all have a matching jar candle now! I think they turned out great- we made them using Glitter Stack Paper & Stampin' Up! Designer Series paper. We adorned all of them with matching ribbons and tags. Most of the tags I made using my paper party punch, scallop punch, 1 3/8"circle punch, & tag punch. Here are some of our favorites:

Finish Line

I'm in the home stretch of making my Christmas cards. I'm soo excited to mail them out to friends and family this year! If you'd like a card, please e-mail me with your address and I'll add you to my list!

I've had a great time making my cards this year and as the end of 2007 nears, I can't help but think of all the fun I've had being creative. I've learned lots of new techniques and I feel like I've really grown into being a much more creative person overall. I'm not afraid to try new things, get messy with glitter, and "ruin" paper!! It does have two sides, folks! :) I look forward to learning much more in 2008 and being able to share all that I learn with all of you!

Holiday Votive Holders

I've created several votive holders to give as a gift for my family Christmas Party on the 15th. My mom and I are also going to decorate large jar candles as her gift. We're going to make them match my votives to coordinate! I think they are super cute, let me know what you think!!

Time Well Spent

As a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! we receive a lot of great perks. Last month, everyone received a FREE stamp set from the upcoming 2008 Spring/Summer Collection. It's a Level 3 Hostess set. I just adore it! It's really versitile, whimsical, and fun!

Here are some pics of what I've created with it so far!

I'll add more this week as I am doing a card swap with some people through my upline, Beth.
I really love the set, and the sentiments especially- "Time spent with friends is time well spent" & "Too much of a good thing is a good thing"!

How cute! I can't wait to share them with you guys and send them to my friends! :)

Bows!

Ever think to make bows from... paper?? I got the idea from a board I belong to, called SplitCoast Stampers. I love the way they look, and it's great that I can coordinate them with 1) my tags & ribbons and 2) with the gift I am giving! Everyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE to match!! :)

* E-mail me: stampinfanatic@hotmail.com for directions on making the bows!

Enjoy!

Holiday Cards!!

Here are some of my latest designs! I love all my holiday stamps sooo much! I have about 10-15 more cards to make. I'm also working on several projects for gifts this year! Check back soon to see some more posts with those items!

Stampin' Fanatic!!

From here out all my posts will be based around my business. I may create another blog to talk about personal life as well, but it wont be for a while.

I've been so busy that I've not had much time to post or show off all my creations, but I'm looking forward to doing that!!

Also, watch for updates on events I'm hosting, etc.

Just an FYI: New Catalog PJ Party 7pm on Jan. 19th @ my house!! Lots of freebies, make-n-takes, and it will be 10o% a girls' night with girly themes and colors!! :)

Hope you can make it!

Grrr..

So, I'm at school in the library waiting for my 4pm class. Once again I arrived at school just to find out that my 2:40pm class was cancelled. I know my prof's been having a rough time with her mother being sick. I understand her not being here. It just sucks because there isn't much for me to do in the meantime. I decided to at least come to the library today and work on some papers tha I have due for her class. I don't need a book for anything special for that, luckily.

I have SO much HW to complete this week and weekend!! I'm NOT looking forward to it once bit! I have a big analytical report due the 5th, as well as the papers from this class on the 3rd and some others on the 7th. Ugh. Then, I have an exam on the 10th. Lucikly its the only test I have and I get a break until Jan 7th!!

I'm planning on a Holiday Open House for Stampin' Up! the weekend of the 7,8,9th... If you're interested, let me know!

Off to get some more papers done. Later guys!!

I guess it's offical!!

I've created my own blog!

I've been contemplating it for some time now. The whole idea behind Livejournal.com was to blog as well. I wanted a place where I could write about family, friends, and showcase all my stampin' stuff!

I signed up to become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator in August, and have truly loved every minute of it. This past week we received a FREE stamp set from the CEO. It's so fun getting FREE stuff for the people you "work" for!

I'm still busy working full time and going to school full time. I never realized how busy I was until the holidays began to roll around.

Celebrated Thanksgiving with both our families last night. It was a nice time... I was too sick to eat much, however.

Today, Kev went and stood in line for over 5 hours to get the TV he's had his eye on for several months. It was a really good deal and it does look great in the living room!!

Maddie is still my sweet baby girl. She is growing up so fast I can hardly stand it. I just love her to death! I never thought a pet could affect me the way she does, but I think about her all the time and miss her when I have to be away from her!

I'm off to make some more holiday cards now... until later!
