Apparently I'm a liar...

I know this weekend came and went without a peep from me! I can explain, really!!

We spent the weekend busy doing all sorts of fun things with friends & each other. I had everything ready to go on Sunday and worked on cards pretty much the entire day! I was so proud. Then, we got hit with a really bad storm. It knocked out our cable, which runs our phone & internet. Bummer.

I couldn't even watch the newest season of Design Star start up... what a disappointment.

Good news is, we weren't hurt. There was NO damage to our house, cars, etc. And, we have power. I know LOTS of people who STILL don't have power and there was another round of storms last night.

To make up for my absence ( I see I was really missed by all the comments on the last post :P) I'm sharing LOTS of cards today!! Enjoy!

I used lots of Rub-Ons this weekend since I have long been neglecting them! Here is a Welcome, Baby card I made. I used textured cardstock for the base, some of the Designer Series Paper I got from the Hostess pad and Perfect Day Rub-Ons ( Only available through the 30th of June!!)

I used more Rub-On's for this card. This time I pulled out some from Sale-A-Bration back in Feb-March. These are called Love & Happiness. Look for some more Blog Candy THIS week to get another SET (from SAB) and some of these Rub-On's!!

I made this card for a friend at work who just found out some bad news. She's taking it pretty well, but myself and another girl wanted to cheer her up. It's hard to see, but I stamped "giggle" in the lower right hand corner. (See the final card of this post to see where this card originated)

The next card is from Beate's Weekend Sketch. She always has such awesome entries! I decided to play along since this was a pretty easy sketch and it worked perfect for this sentiment, which I've been dying to use. The flowers are Flora Doodles by Petaloo.

This final card is from the Featured Stamper Challenge over Splitcoast. This particular card was made for last weeks' challenge. I LOVE the way it turned out. I never think to use gray as a base, but since I did I can't get enough. The card above was made to mimic this one- I just changed the papers, colors, and I made the flowers above by using my scallop punch instead of a stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed all my creations from this weekend. I'm still up to my ears in wedding invites- and I have a workshop for my mother-in-law on Monday. I'm excited to show off some more goodies!

Check back this week for that blog candy!! ;)

Super cute. I have posted quite a few on my site as well. I have still been trying to do at least a card a day. Just to keep going.
